Library Caravan

History of Library Caravan

The month of November is globally celebrated as Family Literacy Month in many libraries.

Therefore in 2021, the National Public Library, Archives and Documentation Services, Macmillan Publishers and Gaymes Book Centre collaborated in order to sensitize the public on the important role that the library plays in connecting families and communities through reading.

The aim was also to sensitize the public on the resources and services available to the community in the respective branch libraries.

In order to achieve this the library caravan was conceptualized.
