HYPE
HYPE: Helping Young People Excel began in July 2014.
It is a programme held by the National Public Library, during the school summer vacation, for children 12 – 15 years old.
The main aim of the programme is to provide an important skill to pre-teens and teenagers that may create job opportunities while also developing their literacy and research skills.
The theme for HYPE changes annually.
The programme consists of practical activities based on the theme, presentations by individuals on aspects related to the theme, motivational talks, fieldtrips, games and other recreational activities.
