CLAP
The National Public Library’s Children Annual Program: CLAP for Fun caters to children aged five (5) to eleven (11) years. The program offers children a broad range of physical, social, emotional, artistic, and academic opportunities. Children are introduced to books in different formats and genres that will encourage reading and the use of library facilities across the island. The program also seeks to enhance participants’ confidence and self-esteem, support their academic success, and promote community engagement. The theme for CLAP for Fun changes annually. CLAP for fun is characterized by illustrated lectures, discussion, art, craft, games, singing, field trips and exhibitions.
