AUDIO BOOK SERVICE FOR THE PRINT DISABLED
The National Public Library, Archives and Documentation Services, in partnership with Accessible Books Consortium (ABC), has developed and is offering a service for persons who are print disabled.
ABC is a multi-stakeholder partnership, comprising the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and organizations that serve people with print disabilities.
This service is available for all ages and involves the delivery of audio books, via WhatsApp or email, to persons who are print disabled.
A print disability is a difficulty or inability to read printed material due to a physical, visual or learning disability.
How to register
Registration is required to access this service.

Persons may also register at the Information Desk.
Once registration is complete persons will be contacted to complete the registration process and further information will be given on how the service works
User requirements
1) Persons must be print disabled.
2) Access to a smart phone, tablet or computer as this is the medium used to send books
Persons who do not possess any of these devices may use the computers at the National Public Library
